The 6th International Conference CITi 2024 will be held in Guayaquil, Ecuador from November 30th to December 2nd. The conference will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world to discuss the latest advances in information and communication technologies (ICTs) for development.
The conference will feature a keynote address by Dr. Milton Chen, former Director of the United Nations Development Programme. Dr. Chen will speak about the role of ICTs in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

In addition to the keynote address, the conference will feature a number of panel discussions, workshops, and paper presentations. The conference will also include a poster session, where attendees can present their research findings.
The conference is an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest advances in ICTs for development and to network with other researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. We encourage you to submit a paper or poster and to attend the conference.
Call for Papers
We invite researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to submit papers and posters for presentation at the conference. Papers should be no more than 10 pages in length, and posters should be no larger than 36 inches by 48 inches. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.
The deadline for submission is August 15th, 2023.
Registration
Registration for the conference is now open. The early bird registration fee is $250. The regular registration fee is $300. The student registration fee is $150.

Transportation
The conference venue is located in the heart of Guayaquil. The city is served by the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE). The airport is located about 10 kilometers from the city center.
There are a number of ways to get from the airport to the city center. You can take a taxi, bus, or rental car.
Things to Do in Guayaquil
Guayaquil is a vibrant city with a rich history and culture. There are a number of things to do in the city, including:
- Visiting the Malecón 2000, a beautiful waterfront promenade
- Exploring the Las Peñas neighborhood, a historic district with charming colonial architecture
- Visiting the Parque Histórico Guayaquil, a park that showcases the city's natural and cultural history
- Shopping at the Mercado Artesanal, a market where you can find a variety of souvenirs
- Dining at one of the city's many restaurants, which offer a variety of cuisines
